EMS 203 — Paramedic - Specialized Care

This course is the last of three required courses to complete the Paramedic program. Students master the roles, responsibilities and skill level required for licensing as a Paramedic. Emphases are placed on special considerations that include terrorism and hazardous materials management. This course also addresses special populations, assessment-based management and ambulance operations. R, 12 (4 lecture hours, 2 laboratory hours and 2 clinical hours) Note: Students must attend the first class session to be seated. No late registrations are allowed due to IDPH attendance regulations.
