CSC 244 — Network Security and Fundamentals

This course introduces students to important network security fundamentals required for today’s dynamic business climate. Topics include firewall implementation, the use of virtual private networks (VPNs), common security threats, and network security solutions. With the development of an in-depth understanding of networking security principals, students are prepared for an entry-level security specialist career. 12 (2 lecture hours and 2 laboratory hours)
