MATH 145 - General Education Statistics MATH 145 - General Education Statistics (IAI: M1 902) Examines the collection, organization and interpretation of both univariate and bivariate quantitative data using graphical and numerical descriptive methods; develops necessary sampling distribution theory through computer simulation and actual experimentation; provides the opportunity to design and carry out real experiments to estimate unknown population parameters and to test hypotheses about those parameters. Emphasizes the use of microcomputers and calculators to perform analyses throughout the course. A graphing calculator is required for this course. Check with the College Bookstore or the Mathematics Department for recommended models. (PCS 1.1, 4 credit hours - 4 hours lecture, 0 hours lab)
