AUTO 241 - Automotive Engine Repair AUTO 241 - Automotive Engine Repair (Spring Semester Only) Studies the four-stroke cycle automotive engine designs. Diagnosis and repair of oil consumption and leakage, abnormal noises, loss of power and component failure as related to the mechanical components of an engine. Shop experience includes removal and installation of automotive engines in front-wheel and rear-wheel vehicles and various types of in-chassis repairs. (PCS 1.2, 4 credit hours - 3 hours lecture, 3 hours lab)
