DMS 225 — Superficial Sonography
This course will review the anatomy of and familiarize students with scanning protocols for the thyroid, parathyroid, breast, scrotum, and male pelvis, and other superficial structures. Common pathologies will be discussed and correlated with other imaging modalities. Upon completion, students will identify protocols appropriate to specific techniques and wil l perform superficial sonograms.
