UCTP Physics
Students will learn about the major topics in classical physics including: mechanics; electricity and magnetism; thermodynamics; and wave theory. They will also be introduced to topics in modern physics including: quantum theory; the atomic structure; and relativity. Calculus will be used to analyze and solve problems in these areas. Successful completion of these courses, along with additional general education requirements, meets the guidelines for the University of California Transfer Pathway in Physics.
