PHYS 1405 — Elementary Physics I
This is a survey course for students who want a basic descriptive introduction to physics. The topics covered are the metric system; linear and circular motion; forces; work; energy; properties of matter; temperature; heat; and expansion. Fall. Prerequisites: 12th grade reading level and eligibility for ENGL 1301 and MATH 1314 .
