ESOL High Beginning - Certificate of Competency
The ESOL High Beginning Certificate of Competency verifies that a student has successfully completed three ESOL core classes (Reading and Writing, Listening and Speaking, and Grammar) at the high beginning level. Students interested in completing this certificate should consult with the ESOL department chair and a counselor. Career Opportunities This certificate will help prepare students for vocational programs and job advancement. Program Learning Outcomes Upon completion of this program a student will be able to: Demonstrate high beginning skills in English listening, speaking, reading, and/or writing which will allow them to achieve their personal, vocational, and academic goals.
