Cosmetology - A.S. Degree
The Associate of Science Degree in Cosmetology prepared students in all phases of cosmetology. In addition to completion of A.S. requirements, the program includes 1000 hours of training in theoretical foundations, manipulative skills, business knowledge, professional and ethical practices in the field of cosmetology, and prepares students to take the California State Board of Cosmetology examination for licensure. Admission Requirements: Complete the application for Laney College. A grade of "C" or above is required in each prerequisite course to continue in the sequence of course offerings.
