MATH 522 — Pathway to Calculus

Pathway to Calculus combines elements of algebra, trigonometry and precalculus to prepare students for the calculus series / STEM pathway. Emphasize on the library of functions including linear, polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric, and inverse functions; introduction to the tangent line and area problems leading to the derivative and integral, and an introduction to limits and limit laws, continuity, derivatives, and sequences and series. Not open for credit to students who have completed or are concurrently enrolled in MATH 1.
