Surgical Technology (9335)
A surgical technologist is an integral member of the surgical team, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel in delivering patient care before, during, and after surgery. Surgical technologists have primary responsibility for maintaining the sterile field and ensuring that the surgical team adheres to strict sterile technique. They prepare, set up, and handle the instruments, supplies, medications, and equipment necessary for the surgical procedure.
