EDUC 2200 — Introduction to Educational Psychology (TAG) 3 Credits
This course is an introduction to the basic theories involved in the processes of teaching and learning. Topics include major theories of human, moral, emotional, and cognitive development and theories of learning and motivation. Diversity across learners, educational facilities, and communities will be reviewed. Instructional strategies, assessment, and differences in learning strategies are introduced. Additionally, the course examines the influences of environmental variables on learning and development. (3 contact hours)
