PPSP25 — Retail Skills
This course introduces students to essential concepts and practices in retail operations. Designed with a flexible lesson plan to adapt to varying skill levels, students will engage in hands-on activities, learning the core aspects of the retail environment. Topics covered include ordering merchandise, pricing strategies, effective display techniques, customer service, and cash register operations. In addition, students will explore inventory management and gain insights from guest speakers. The course concludes with a field trip to observe retail in action, followed by a post-assessment and a reflective writing portfolio to reinforce learning outcomes.
