CENG57 — Abstract Art Studio

0 credits · 0 hours

Abstraction is bold, exciting, and fun—and this camp is designed to make it approachable for all artists. In this hands-on art camp, high school students will explore multiple pathways to abstract art, learning how artists break away from realism to express ideas, emotions, and creativity in new ways. Campers will experiment with painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media while developing their own artistic voice. Through guided projects and creative exploration, students will gain confidence, take creative risks, and create original artwork that reflects their unique personality and style. If possible, students are encouraged to bring a ruler and any collage-able magazine or book pages to use in their artwork. No prior abstract art experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
