CDIS66 — The Eyes Have It
In this course you should learn about the visual pathway including types of refractive error and the options for correction. We will also cover ocular health topics (Glaucoma, Cataracts, Macular degeneration, etc) and the way that systemic health conditions can have an impact on the eyes (Hypertension, Diabetes, High cholesterol, etc). At the end of the course students should have a better understanding of the importance of systemic health, ocular health and eyecare. This class is totality unexpected: come and learn more about the functions of the human eye. Dr. Nesbitt graduated with her bachelors in Kinesiology from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne. She then continued on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry.
