CBOD13 — Understanding Your Dreams

0 credits · 0 hours

Invest a summer Saturday morning discovering how dreams can relate to and enhance waking life. Dreams may be conceptualized as motion pictures of our feelings. It has been thought that the dream mind strives for resolution and integration of feeling so the dreamer can function as "a whole person" while awake. Dreams are additionally viewed not just for problem-solving abilities but for the amazing capacity of the human mind to unveil possibilities and potential through metaphors and symbols, both personal and archetypal. This workshop will draw upon the classic works of Freudian, Jungian and Gestalt theories, among others.
