KIN 237 — BOOT CAMP I
1.00 Units (Lab 3 Hrs) Transfer Credit: CSU, UC Students learn and apply low intensity style boot camp class activi - ties along with nutrition and diet assessments. Students learn train- ing exercises like basic aerobic and anaerobic conditioning, muscu- lar strength, resistance and endurance training, and also individual and team concepts. In addition, students are challenged to under - stand and apply basic fitness principles, basic anatomy and phys - iology, the prevention of training injuries, target heart rate and the intensity of exercise as well as nutrition for fitness. Students train individually, with a partner or in a team setting.
