GEOG 015 — PHYSICAL GEOGRAPHY LABORATORY
2.00 Units (Lec 1 Hrs / Lab 2 Hrs) Transfer Credit: CSU, UC(CalGETC Area 5C), C-ID (GEOG 111) Prerequisite: GEOG001 OR Corequisite: GEOG001Advisory: ENGLISH028 AND ENGLISH067 This course is designed to provide supplemental exercises in topics covered in Physical Geography lecture (GEOG 001). Students learn to analyze and interpret maps, including weather maps and topo - graphic maps, as well as perform hands-on exercises that explore Earth-Sun relationships, atmospheric energy transfer, pressure and moisture, climate and biogeography, plate tectonics and volca - noes, and landforms.
