3.00 Units (Lec 2 Hrs / Lab 3 Hrs) Transfer Credit: CSU Students learn technology of computer hardware such as micropro- cessor, RAM, UEFI/BIOS/CMOS, motherboard, power supply, HDD, optical drive, video, sound, and I/O devices; how these form a work- ing system; basics of networking; simple troubleshooting of PC sys - tems; and features and troubleshooting of portable computers and mobile devices. This course is one of two courses on the computer systems and technologies to prepare students for CompTIA A+ cer - tification exams.
