5.00 Units (Lec 3 Hrs / Lab 6 Hrs) Transfer Credit: CSU, UC(CalGETC Area 5A,5C) Prerequisite: CHEM101 The students receive in lectures the theory and application of chemical kinetics, general and aqueous equilibria, thermodynam - ics, electrochemistry, nuclear chemistry, descriptive chemistry, and structure and bonding in transition metal complexes and carbon compounds. In the laboratory students apply what is learned in lec - ture to experiments in reaction kinetics, chemical qualitative analy - sis, chemical and spectroscopic quantitative analysis, potentiomet - ric titration techniques, and electrochemistry.
