MT216 — Fabrication Practices
MT 216 - Fabrication Practices MT 216 - Fabrication Practices Lab: 2 hours of lab per week. This course is a supplement to other manufacturing technology courses. This class will enable students to obtain closely supervised hands-on machine tool experience. Operations will include the use of basic machine tools such as the engine lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, and surface grinder. Students will also be introduced to sheet metal fabrication. Operations will include the use of press brake, shear, ironworker, and spot welder. Note: This course is not this catalog year. Prerequisites: MT215
