Topics may include inorganic, organic, biochemistry, food/physiological chemistry, and environmental/consumer chemistry. Designed for allied health students and for students who are not science majors. Specific topics covered will include measurement and unit conversion, atomic and molecular structure of matter, chemical reactions, solutions, acid/base chemistry, nuclear chemistry, thermochemistry, organic chemistry and structure of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats.
