Introduces students to Overhead Utility Construction. Covers topics in bucket truck operations (aerial lift); pole excavation, placement, removal and restoration; electrical safety and stray voltage detection; and responding to emergency situations in the telecommunication industry. Lecture: 1 credit (15 contact hours). Laboratory: 2 credits (60 contact hours).
