SPA 101 — Elementary Spanish I
Designed to develop basic skills in speaking, writing, listening and reading with particular emphasis on conversation. Introduces the rich and diverse culture of the Spanish-speaking world with the goal of developing students' intercultural knowledge and understanding. Represents the first course in a two-semester sequence designed to introduce students to Spanish. Intended for students with little or no previous Spanish. Lecture: 4 credits (60 contact hours).
