SFA 115 — OSHA Construction Safety

Introduces the history of the safety movement under the standards of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Provides entry level construction workers with information about their rights and employer responsibilities. Emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control, and appropriate use of PPE. Note: OSHA 30 certificate may be available upon successful completion of all required course topics for construction. Lecture: 2 credits (30 contact hours).
