PLW 260 — Environmental Sustainability
Equips students with the ability to analyze complex environmental systems by applying the engineering design process to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to real-world challenges. Integrates scientific, biological, and engineering principles while considering the ethical, economic, and societal impacts of their work. Emphasizes experimentation, documentation, and professional communication to foster both technical competence and responsible decision-making in addressing environmental sustainability. Prerequisite(s): PLW 100 or PLW 105 and PLW 125 or consent of instructor. Lecture: 1 credits (15 contact hours); Laboratory: 3 credits (135 contact hours).
