EET 274 — Electrical Motor Controls
Addresses the diversity of control devices and applications used in industry today. Emphasizes the importance of safety and electrical lockouts. Focuses on the advanced study of motor controls in industry. Focuses on solid state relays, hall effect sensors, proximity detectors and photo detectors. Examines the sketching, installing and troubleshooting the following: three phase controls, variable speed drives, relays, solid state devices, and programmable controls.
