HORT 1014 — : Fundamentals of Horticulture
hours (3 lecture/2 lab) The purpose of this course is to 1) introduce the student to the employment options in the horticulture industry; 2) develop the student's ability to apply the biological concepts of plant structure and function to horticulture practices; 3) develop the student's use of the horticulture terminology; and 4) have the student perform basic horticultural tasks.
