PHIL 105 - Contemporary Moral Issues PHIL 105 - Contemporary Moral Issues Lecture: 3 Lab: 0 IAI GECC Code H4 904 This introductory course will students understand and rationally evaluate some of the ‘hot button’ moral issues of our time. The course will focus primarily on debates in biomedical ethics, business ethics, and environmental ethics. Additional topics of study may include war and terrorism, sexual ethics, race and gender, capital punishment, or governmental regulation of specific practices (e.g. gambling, prostitution, or drug use).
