MA 104 - Medical Laboratory Procedures MA 104 - Medical Laboratory Procedures Lecture: 2 Lab: 4 This course introduces laboratory procedures commonly performed in a physician’s office or medical clinic. The course covers specimen identification, collection, handling and transportation procedures. Students practice venipuncture and routine diagnostic testing. Students perform common laboratory tests, check vital signs, and perform selected invasive procedures. Proper documentation of all clinical procedures will also be reviewed.
