HIST 205 - French Revolution HIST 205 - French Revolution Lecture: 3 Lab: 0 This course will provide the student with an analysis of the major events of the French Revolution from 1789 to 1799. Topics covered will include: the origins of the Revolution in the society and government of Old Regime France and the major ideas of the Enlightenment; the major political, cultural and societal changes; and the impact that the French Revolution had upon the whole of Europe through war and the spread of liberal ideas.
