MET 191 — Mechanical Tools II

4 credits · 4 hours

This course offers continued emphasis on shop safety, quality measurement devices, and expands total quality management techniques such as control charts and SPC (statistical process control). Students will gain actual experience in processing work, selecting cutting tools, and setting feeds and speeds using manually operated machines. In addition, students will learn how to program and operate CNC (computerized numerical control) equipment.
