................................ 4 cr. ........................................................................................ 4 Lab hrs./week Pre-Req: SONO 2017 Co-Req: None The third of a multi-course sequence that will continue to evaluate the normal anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the human heart as part of the cardiovascular system. The learner will become familiar with advanced cardiac imaging studies, such as stress echocardiograms, the use of contrast agents, cardiac nuclear medicine testing, cardiac cath - eterization, transesophageal echocardiography, 3D echocardiography, and other specialized studies, along with the clinical indications for each, as related to cardiac disease processes and effects.
