RADT 1260 — Radiographic Practicum I**
................................... 2 cr. .....................................................................................16 Clin. hrs./week Pre-Req: Admitted to RADT program Co-Req: RADT 1390, RADT 1340, RADT 1380 This introduction course is designed for students to participate in radiographic examinations under approved supervision in the clinical setting. Experience in a variety of procedures will assist students in applying theory and developing specified levels of competence. Students will be engaged with the proper use of radiographic equip - ment, along with the development of skills in positioning, patient care, interpersonal communications, image analysis, and radiation safety practices. Competence at this introductory level will be evaluated and documented for a selected category of exams.
