SDEV146 — Coding with AI
SDEV 146 - Coding with AI SDEV 146 - Coding with AI Students will gain hands-on experience with popular AI coding tools such as ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot. They will practice using AI to create code snippets and functions, refactor and enhance existing code, and debug programs by identifying and fixing errors with AI assistance. Emphasis is placed on critically evaluating AI-generated code for correctness, readability, and overall quality, as well as effectively cleaning up and integrating AI-produced code into larger projects. The course also covers ethical and responsible practices for using AI in software development thus preparing students for AI-assisted coding in real-world contexts. MAJOR COURSE LEARNING
