Provides the opportunity to practice and perform patient assessment, endotracheal intubation, suctioning of upper and lower airway, delivery of aerosolized medications, administration of medications via various enteral and parenteral routes, intravenous access techniques, interpretation of electrocardiogram tracings, and therapeutic communication techniques in the emergency department, critical care units, behavioral units, and other appropriate clinical areas.
