MORT 221 - Funeral Directing II MORT 221 - Funeral Directing II The student will continue to learn specific procedures used when making funeral arrangements for the bereaved family. Specific attention will be paid to the various religious, fraternal, military and secular funeral service options. In addition, students will explore: notification of death, transfer of remains, pre-funded/pre-planned funerals, religious practices, fraternal and military funerals, shipment of remains, aftercare and professionalism in funeral service.
