LEGS 211 - Criminal Law and Procedure LEGS 211 - Criminal Law and Procedure This includes examining conduct that constitutes crimes and the theories and constitutionality of the punishments for such crimes. Course topics include the American criminal justice system, criminal liability, the elements of specific crimes, constitutional limits, the Indiana Code (with specific emphasis on the penal code), criminal defenses, victims, punishments and sentencing. The student will also become familiar with the Indiana Criminal Code and Indiana Rules of Criminal Procedure. MAJOR COURSE LEARNING
