EDUC 240 - Physical and Health Education for Elementary Teachers EDUC 240 - Physical and Health Education for Elementary Teachers Knowledge and skills are examined for planning and implementing health and physical education curricula to promote physical fitness and healthy living for children from kindergarten through 6th grade. Course topics include adaptive physical education, mental health, social-emotional learning, national & state health education standards, and nutrition science. This course may be in Face to Face, Blended, Virtual, or Learn Anywhere formats. OBSERVATIONAL FIELD EXPERIENCE STATEMENT: Observational Field Experience in an educational environment may be required as part of this course. MAJOR COURSE LEARNING
