EDUC 233 - Introduction to Language and Literacy - Science of Reading I EDUC 233 - Introduction to Language and Literacy - Science of Reading I Introduces the educator to the basic tenets and teaching strategies required for implementing skills to teach phonemic awareness, phonics, and foundational writing skills in the elementary classroom. This course requires a minimum of 32 hours of video or in-person observation of literacy instruction and peer teaching practice based on the Science of Reading. This course may be taught in face-to-face, blended, virtual, and Learn Anywhere formats. MAJOR COURSE LEARNING
