ECED 105 - CDA Process ECED 105 - CDA Process Students must also meet the requirement for the credential they wish to pursue: - Infant Toddler CDA - 480 hours of professional work experience in a state approved center-based early learning setting with children ages 0-36 months, within the last three years. - Preschool CDA- 480 hours of professional work experience in a state approved center-based early learning setting with chidlren ages 3-5 years, within the last three years. - Birth to Five CDA - 480 hours of professional work experience in a state approved center-based early learning setting with children from birth to 5 years old. This experience should include a minimum of 160 hours in each sub-age group within a center-based setting, including experience in all three sub-age groups - infants (birth-17 months), toddlers (18-36 months), and preschoolers (3-5-years-old), within the last three years. Family Child Care CDA- 480 hours of professional work experience in a family child care setting with children ages birth to 5 years, within the last three years. Home Visitor CDA- 480 hours in a Home Visitor program serving families with children ages birth to 5 years, within the last three years. Due to the practicum requirement and the nationally required PDS verification visit, this course must be taken at the student’s home campus unless otherwise approved by the student’s home campus ECED Program Chair.
