DMSI 203 - OB/Gyn Sonography II and Lab DMSI 203 - OB/Gyn Sonography II and Lab The student will learn pathophysiologic effects and the sonographic appearance of teratogens, genetic aberrations, as well as maternal complications. Complication and risk factors in the second and third trimester pregnancy, procedures, multiple fetuses, and post pregnancy complications are also covered. Processes and procedures used such as three-dimensional scanning, and other interventional procedures. Emotional and mental conditions for both the maternal patient as well as the technologist are also discussed. Medical and sonographic terminology will be discussed. MAJOR COURSE LEARNING
