CHEM 279 - Introduction to Scientific Research CHEM 279 - Introduction to Scientific Research The course will be tailored to individually expose each student to research associated with their discipline or sub-discipline. Students will be instructed on basic research principles, develop a testable hypothesis, design a research project that tests their hypothesis, and present their findings in both written and presentation form. Written form will follow the format of an international journal that represents the student’s discipline. Presentations can be either poster or oral, and should reflect the discipline standard.
