ASEP 135 - GM ASEP Electrical Transmission and Final Drive Diagnosis ASEP 135 - GM ASEP Electrical Transmission and Final Drive Diagnosis Instruction covers mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic control systems, with emphasis on the proper use of precision measuring tools and GM-specific service equipment. Throughout the course, students complete required modules in GM’s Center of Learning (service technician online training) and culminate the sequence by taking the nationally recognized ASE A2 (Automatic Transmission/Transaxle) and ASE A3 (Manual Drive Train & Axles) certification exams.
