TA 26 — GREAT PLAYS: RENAISSANCE TO CONTEMPORARY
This reading and discussion course studies significant plays from the major eras of world drama, from the 18th century to contemporary works. The course traces the development of the play in themes, characterization, and dramatic structure considering philosophical and cultural backgrounds and production styles that have influenced the staging of plays. Field trips may be required. Credit may be earned in either TA 26 or 26H, but not both.
