BIO 1H — THE LIFE SCIENCES HONORS
This Honors course is an integrated survey of the major principles of biology. Students focus on cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, reproduction, genetics, evolution, population biology, and ecology. This course is recommended for students seeking to fulfill the general education requirement in life sciences or as an introductory course for students pursuing advanced study in life sciences. In this Honors course, students are expected to read and summarize topical articles, perform literature searches and reviews, and complete associated writing assignments. Credit may be earned in either BIO 1 or 1H, but not both.
