3.0 HR. (TC) Prerequisite: Approved reading placement score, or equivalent. This course is an analytical approach toward understanding the dynamics and the relationships of the individual, society, and culture, with emphasis on America today and in the future. It introduces the student to the basic concepts of the social sciences. Three lecture hours per week.
