SOC110 — Introduction to Sociology
3.0 HR. (TC) Prerequisite: Approved reading placement score, or equivalent. This course utilizes the approaches of functionalism, conflict theory, and interactionism to analyze the structures and processes of group life from a scientific perspective. Major areas of inquiry include theory and methodology, culture, social organizations, socialization, groups, institutions, formal organizations, collective behavior, and social change.
