RADTK110 — Fund of Radiography 1
2.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment in RADTK 110L and acceptance into the Radiography Program. This course is designed to introduce students to radiography and the role of the radiographer as a member of the health care team. In addition, students will be introduced to anatomy and terminology of body systems related to the performance of imaging procedures of the chest and upper extremity with emphasis on positioning and image analysis. Students will also become familiar with the basic principles and procedures to be followed when working with ionizing radiation. Two lecture hours per week.
