3.0 HR. (TC) Prerequisite: Approved reading placement score, or equivalent. This course will acquaint the student with the terminology and the various forms of inductive and deductive reasoning. It will focus on methods of distinguishing good reasoning from bad and on the rules by which we judge arguments, as well as the practical application of these rules. Three lecture hours per week.
